  Albert Brooks Television
Albert's first television appearance was in 1968 on the Steve Allen Show where he performed a ventriloquist parody entitled "Danny and Dave," in which his lips moved more than the dummy's.  Albert tested out his material as a summer regular on the Dean Martin show Gold Diggers of 69 and made guest appearances on Merv Griffin and The Ed Sullivan Show.  Albert's success on these classic shows led him to the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, where he appeared more than 25 times.

Many if not all of Albert's performances on The Tonight Show are available for purchase on the Johnny Carson Website.

During the 70's, Albert guest starred in a few episodes of the Odd Couple (Odd Couple website) and made six films for the first season of Saturday Night Live, including what has been coined the "Super Season" of Saturday Night Live.  He has also created numerous character voices on the animated series The Simpsons (Simpsons website), appearing in one episode as Marge's bowling teacher, billed "A. Brooks."
